BIG image. Pastiche page emulating styles, methods, and materials of Alex Raymond, the illustrative genius behind Flash Gordon, Rip Kirby, Secret Agent X-9 and Jungle Jim.
I ultimately fail at emulating his 30s/40s splendour, but I learned a lot.. especially for my first comic anything since I was like ... 15.
Fullview is pretty hueg.
Oh; since I didn't bother to mention it in the comic page, both the evil Kramm and the shockingly benevolent Gastion bear smoking-pipes of office, ceremonial items of the people of Planet Boingo.
(I might do a few more page parodies like this.. pretty fun, especially as an amateur comic artist - considering Raymond was working in the 30s and 40s and the 'art' hadn't been too refined by then.
PS the capital city of Boingo is Oingo. Oingo, Boingo. Similar thing happens in Flash - Mingo City is capital of planet Mongo. Mingo Mongo.)

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
